Description
This course is focused on developing cultural integrity with a special focus on the indigenous cultures of Australia. Participants will be learn about: 1. The meaning of culture and a reflection on your own cultural identity and predispositions, 2. Awareness of Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander culture, history and language, 3. Ways to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander peoples, 4. What is cultural identity and cultural knowledge, 5. How to nurture cross-cultural understanding and an environment that supports all cultures. It includes informative texts, written exercises, videos, reflections and quizzes.
